Birmingham Airport Ground Clearance Makes Way For New Control Tower
Midland Forestry Ltd, one of the fastest growing providers of arboricultural services in the UK, has been contracted to undertake a large ground clearance operation at Birmingham Airport.
Birmingham International Airport is celebrating its 70th Anniversary and since its first ever flight in May 1939, the Airport has grown from strength to strength to become the Midlands gateway to the world.
The ongoing sustainable development of the Airport, which aims to balance the economic and social benefits to the region with the need to control and mitigate environmental impacts, is crucial for maintaining and improving the region's principal International gateway.
The ground clearance will provide the site for a control tower and a spacious travel lodge hotel.
