Mature Lime tree removal at a National Trust property, Unfortunately this tree had to be removed as it had honey fungus.

Honey fungus is the common name given to several different species of the fungus Armillaria that attack and kill the roots of many woody and perennial plants. The most characteristic symptom of honey fungus is white fungal growth between the bark and wood, usually at ground level.

Veteran Oak tree struck by lighting around 20 years ago. Only 20% of the main stem remains. This great tree had a large split on the live wood with probable future failure, so a major reduction was required to ensure its longevity. Proud of the team that has certainly increased this great trees life span.
